At Burleigh Denture Clinic, we custom make our flexible dentures to provide our patients with a perfect fit. Flexible dentures are typically made from a nylon material which can move with your mouth naturally, providing stability while you’re talking, eating and smiling.

Flexible dentures are:

  • Lightweight, long lasting and comfortable - the flexible material doesn’t require a metal clasp or adhesives, which means you can adjust to a flexible denture much quicker than an acrylic denture.
  • Quick to manufacture & won’t damage easily
  • Made from clear materials which allow the natural colours of the gum to shine through. It can look more natural compared to traditional acrylic dentures.

However, it’s important to note that flexible dentures are only suitable if you only have a few missing teeth, as it uses support from surrounding teeth and gum for stability. Flexible dentures also requires more frequent cleaning, as the flexible base can be prone to bacteria build up. It’s recommended that you rinse your flexible dentures under water immediately after eating to easily remove debris.
